The temperatures in North Norfolk soared on Thursday and I think it was the hottest day of the year at 30. So we, along with everyone else in the area, took to the beach for cooling. Lise & her children, Tjibbe & Jeltje and our family set up on East Beach to the right of the pier. Thankfully while it was busy, there was plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other.
While the kids have been in the water one time this season, but today was different, they wanted to stay in nearly the entire time. So I joined them too and it was a lot of fun with the waves and playing with the underwater camera. Lucky for us, low tide was at 9:23 am that day, so we had hours of great sandy beach & stone free swimming. Hope to have a few more of these hot days, so we can be back on the beach again.
