Came across this *article* (if you can call it that) on a Previvors Group (BRCA+ but never had cancer) facebook page. I had to put it here to share. It’s clearly one of those gossip magazine like postings – but still. Not sure if the UK is as strict as some of the other EU countries as there is an abundance of cheap, easy fast food and fish & chip shops all around and there are some quite obese folks around here too!
Some are just so obvious like things which are full of unnatural colors (see why I hate BLUE things – gross!!) and Olestra – can Ruffels really be fat free? Mountain Dew is just plain nasty as is all soda, and a frozen Hungry Man dinner – unspeakable… But something like bromated flour, which I have never heard of is found in wraps, rolls, bread crumbs, bagel chips & flat bread – most of which I like. I’m going to have a look on the packages & see what I find.
One quick google search with “bromated flour & UK” turned up this article and after reading it, my head is spinning… grrr.. I’ll read more about it, but a bread maker machine like my friend Godelieve has is looking better & better each day!! I’ll bookmark this article and do some more research on this subject.
