Overstrand Beach – Late Afternoon Visit

Third day in a row, we took the kids to a local beach for about an hour of play before dinner.  This time we headed over to Overstrand, which is about 1 mile down the road.  Low tide was at about 3:30 pm so we still had a lot of sand to play on, as this beach is non-existant at high tide.

Thankfully we drove there, as there was a huge rain storm brewing over towards the Cromer Pier and it brought enormous rain just as we were leaving the playground.  I’ve also named it Bunny Playground, as there are always tons of bunnies in the grass there.

We were there for a couple years then onto Ireland for the past 3+ years. As you can probably tell by the name of the blog “Stars, Stripes & Mayonnaise” our family is 1/2 American & 1/2 Dutch and if you know one thing about the Dutch is that they LOVE their mayonnaise! When I started this blog way when it was to capturing memories of our family adventures, their love of mayonnaise, my love of photography, D.I.Y., crafting, sea glass hunting and exploring Europe and beyond with our two amazing kids. It’s essentially a journal of our family.
