Boston’s Museum of Science

Soren’s soccer class was cancelled today and since Nils has this Friday off, we took a trip to the MOS.  Soren has never been there and it’s been years for both Nils & I.  All in all it was a lot of fun.  We stayed for a couple hours.  In the future, we’ll buy a family membership, but only when Soren’s a bit older.

He hated the large dinosaur, hate the bear, loved the baby chicks, loved the ball machine and really loved the trains in the lower level.  The absolute highlight of his day was the Green Line MTBA above ground trains going to Lechmere Station and seeing the Red Line MBTA going over the Longfellow Bridge!!   A trip to Lonnie & Pakkie is in order along with a trip to the Wenham Train Museum!

Here are tons of photos from today.

Author: Stars Stripes and Mayonnaise

A Boston girl currently living in Dublin, Ireland snapping photos and blogging along the way about our family’s journeys from the USA to the UK. We were there for a couple years then onto Ireland for the past 3+ years. As you can probably tell by the name of the blog “Stars, Stripes & Mayonnaise” our family is 1/2 American & 1/2 Dutch and if you know one thing about the Dutch is that they LOVE their mayonnaise! When I started this blog way when it was to capturing memories of our family adventures, their love of mayonnaise, my love of photography, D.I.Y., crafting, sea glass hunting and exploring Europe and beyond with our two amazing kids. It’s essentially a journal of our family.
