Second Birthday Party: Soren

We celebrated Soren’s 2nd birthday party in Winthrop.   As he loves all things like big trucks, dinner, muddy, sand, etc. so fittingly it was a “construction themed” party.

We had just returned back from being in Belgium for Christmas, where he was introduced to Bob The Builder – and he was happy with the construction cake with Bob on top.    How about that haircut the “faux hawk”!

I was also 7 months pregnant with Maebh – though you don’t see my belly here in this photo.

As you can probably tell by the name of the blog “Stars, Stripes & Mayonnaise” our family is 1/2 American & 1/2 Dutch and if you know one thing about the Dutch is that they LOVE their mayonnaise! When I started this blog way when it was to capturing memories of our family adventures, their love of mayonnaise, my love of photography, D.I.Y., crafting, sea glass hunting and exploring Europe and beyond with our two amazing kids. It’s essentially a journal of our family.
